The Shrinking Ledge was produced by Echelon Theatricals at Chapel off Chapel, from 30 August - 16 September 2001. It starred Paul Lum, Amanda Levy & Reg Gorman. and tells the story of a writer, BROWN, who 'jumps' from the ledge of the 'real world' - one from which he craves escape - into a burlesque world of his own creation.

But when the fictional characters of BROWN'S invention start turning on him, and blurring with people from his 'real world', BROWN'S refuge seems anything but safe. All BROWN needs to do is not to take himself so seriously...If only that were possible when everyone is laughing at him...
